No Longer Lost in the Wild

This entire situation has proved itself surreal.
I have been waiting very impatiently for two months and a week for him to come home, and now his luggage is scattered in hurricane fashion around my room -- our room. I can't even begin to comprehend my emotions; they are this jumbled mess, of relief, joy, fear and sorrow, and it is leaving me in this uncomfortably dream-like state. I'm just waiting to be told that I am obviously having visual, auditory, tactile and olfactory hallucinations, but I know my life, despite my blatant insanity, is once again whole. We made it through the plethora of trials and tribulations that we brought upon ourselves. We made it.
